The Egyptian "Unknown Soldier" Memorial.
We were told that the writing that's carved all over the monument is actually the names of the soldiers that are interred there - so much for unknown....
 The guards on duty don't mind a bit to pose with us. It's got to be boring standing there in the hot sun in full dress uniform all day. |
