Me out at our new "open storage" area next to the airport in Manama, Bahrain.

Just to give you an idea of what we have to work with. The area once had buildings on it that were torn down. We're expected to store a large amount of equipment coming back from Saudi Arabia here. Definitely not out of Warehousing Today magazine...

Rubble, rubble everywhere and not a flat spot to be had......

At least it comes complete with stray dogs.

They actually left a section of a wall standing in the upper left corner. One side still has cables and junction boxes in it. We assume there's no power to it, but no one's volunteered to check.

Some of the stuff we're storing..... A/C units and lots of barbed wire.

Me with a couple of the Saudi drivers who felt like having their picture taken.

And the trucks keep rolling in.

Various shots of offloading water tanks.....
.....a whole lot of water tanks.....

Ed and his toy.......

A couple of shots inside our main warehouse.

Equipment is stored on the mezzanine above the Receiving and Shop Stock areas. There's enough MRE's sitting in front to feed a small nation - if we were cruel enough to make them eat it....

Across the floor is our Transporation area where vehicle maintenance is done on the stored vehicles.
